Psalm 143:3-5

³For the enemy has pursued my soul;
He has crushed my life ^(A)to the ground;
He ^(B)has made me inhabit dark places, like those who have long been dead.
⁴Therefore ^(C)my spirit was faint within me;
My heart was ^[a]^(D)appalled within me.

⁵I ^(E)remember the days of old;
I ^(F)meditate on all You have done;
I ^(G)muse on the work of Your hands.
